My mother just called to tell me of a class action lawsuit brought against DeBeers (the diamond people).  She said I should check out the site and see if husbandito’s purchase of my engagement ring back in 2000 qualifies for, and I’m quoting her directly here: “a piece of the action.”

The Bane of McMansions

Over the weekend, I visited a family friend at her new home in a tony neighborhood in northern New Jersey.  The house boasts 5 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, a conservatory, two stairways, soaring ceilings and a catwalk overlooking the entry and living room.  I think her house has more closet space than my house has square footage.
