Let’s get crafty…

While I will never be mistaken for Martha Stewart, I have been know to dabble in arts and crafts.  I prefer to think of myself as a craft dilettante, slowly working my way toward aficionado one homemade craft at a time.

In light of the fact that Valentine’s day is about two weeks away, I spent some time at Michael’s, the craft emporium, on Saturday night seeking inspiration and supplies.  What a way to spend a happening Saturday evening.  Anyway, here’s what I came away with.

One of the main problems I face when doing crafty stuff is my short attention span–it’s that of a flea.  I finished four cards and was ready to pack it in.  Of course I didn’t, but I seriously wanted to.  I pressed on and created these…Betcha you wish you were my Valentine!  Now, for some reason, my pictures never upload very nicely, so I put a link to my flickr account–check out my fancy pictures on my sidebar.
