Next, I tallied the votes for the best M&M work of art…and it was a TIE! I wanted to win so badly…but came in a distant second place to the STAR and the CAT/BEAR hybrid. Husbandito and Lisa brought up the rear in third and fourth places respectively. Congrats to BRAD and NORA on their inimitable M&M artistic abilities.
And now, to the good stuff. I couldn’t use the random number generator because some people got 2 votes for ‘pimpin’, so I had to do it the old-school way. It was sooo much fun.
I typed each name, printed them all, and then cut them into strips. It was hard work. Then I tossed them into a bowl, gave them a hearty stir and then had Husbandito dig in for a winner. As he dug around, I silently repeated the mantra: “Please don’t pick someone from the west coast because shipping rates will be outlandish.”
And the name he fished out of my bowl is…GEENA J.! Congrats to you–here’s to hoping you don’t live in Helsinki. Enjoy your new Griddle/Grill and breakfast treats even though you didn’t vote for my N!
But friends, could I possibly only give away only ONE prize when had so many entrants? You know I couldn’t! So I have a tinyprize for a second place winner–a box of Beignet mix from Cafe Du Monde! That prize goes to…Karla and Karrie!
