What? That doesn’t do it for you?! Come on! Look at the crispy crust and toasty cheese! Still nothing?

Your iron will can’t resist this shot! So, what do YOU put on your pizza?

(aw crap, that reminded me I need to photo my fridge.)
I like garbage pizzas, but SOME PEOPLE in Casa Mak will spontaneously explode if there’s anything but C&P on their pie.
Though, I did talk him getting a stuffed pepper pizza on Friday.
So, yeah, pretty much anything but tiny fish can go on my pie; though I prefer just green peppers and cheese.
garbage pizza? i don’t even want to know. i like green peppers anywhere but on my pizza…i’m not sure why.
pretty much everything BUT the kitchen sink.
Pepperoni, olives and mushrooms. Yum!
You just made me very hungry.
i like mushrooms too…but they can make the pizza to runny because they have so much water in them. they have to be sauteed within an inch of their lives to succeed on pizza.
Exactly. Nice and rubbery.
This is how I eat a pizza. Whole wheat crust, olive oil, tomato sauce, lean ground beef, grilled chicken, roasted garlic, bacon and diced red peppers.
sounds like a sandwich, not a pizza! lol.
I’m a true carnivore. Meat, meat and more meat. Pepperoni, sausage, ham, hamburger…etc, etc, etc.
is pepperoni really meat? i think it’s like bacon–too processed to fit into the ‘meat’ category.
A couple of weeks ago, Kamo and I ordered a meaty pizza from the Two Boots in Grand Central: sopressata, tasso, pepperoni, sausage, and broccoli thrown in just for looks.
A half an hour went by, and we wondered where our pizza was, Grand Central being only three blocks away. 45 minutes went by, and the delivery guy called to tell us he was on Madison. (Madison is the wrong way.) An hour went by, and we tried calling the delivery guy back, but his phone was busy. An hour and a half went by, and we called to cancel our order.
Sometimes when the door buzzer goes off, we still wonder if it’s going to be the pizza guy.
when are we going to HOT AND CRUSTY on second avenue?!?!?! name the day and i’m THERE.
NO. I think the only pizza I truly adore is Papa John’s BBQ Chicken & Bacon Pizza. YUM!
dear hayden,
i love you dearly, but you are in need of pizza intervention. papa john’s is NOT pizza. i’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this bit of news.
come visit me and i’ll take you for real pizza.
xoxo

Olives are gross.
Simple for me. Candian Bacon, Green Peppers and extra cheese. But I will eat anyhing other than fish and, of course, olives on a pie.
olives RULE. canadian bacon is frightening.
Yuck. Look at that factory-stamped premade crust. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Favorite toppings: thinly sliced homemade meatballs, fresh garlic. Honorable mentions: onions, black olives, sausage.
Also, a nice margherita style pie with fresh basil and mozzarella.
Least favorite topping: extra cheese, especially when it’s
that icky vinyl-like stuff.
*sigh*
Hi- I happened upon your blog in a very roundabout way. I love pizza though! Not picky about toppings except I hate pineapple (on pizza). Sweet things just don’t belong with savoury!
i’ve never tried pineapple on pizza…it sort of scares me to mix fruit with sauce…and i’m not the most adventurous eater…
light on the sauce and lots of veggies!
light on the sauce? what does that even mean?
Actually it looks pretty good to me-put some banana peppers and anchovies with those olives(someone has to eat the yucky stuff so you don’t have to!) and some thin sliced onion and jalapeno and maybe tomato to the pepperoni. YUMMY!
*swooning* anchovies?! seriously? eek. you are so brave! i only eat mushrooms or black olives on my pizza–well done, NO oregano.
FYI:
I totally want pizza right now… Do they have “breakfast pizza” up your way?
And I don’t want breakfast pizza, I want regular pizza.
breakfast pizza? i thought that was stuff of legend–bill bryson wrote a column about it 10 years ago. i didn’t know it was a real thing..
*drool*
crust, beaten eggs, bacon and cheese.
B-fast of CHAMPIONS (and Stephanie)
Wow. I’m reheating leftover pizza while I browse blogs I haven’t checked in a while. And yep, there’s just something about pizza.
Personally, I tend to like a good mushroom pizza. Or ham & pineapple. Or a margherita pizza (basil leaves, tomato slice, parmesan on a thin crust–I think; it’s been a while). And I absolutely crave a chicken-and-banana pepper pizza every few weeks. Unfortunately, the jars of banana peppers we got in Ohio are nowhere to be found in Powell River, BC–just hot pepper rings, which are soooo NOT the same.
What’s heating now is pesto pizza (pesto, sundried tomato, chicken, cheese–mmm).
